WorkTripp Gains Pending B Corp Status

WorkTripp, the platform for teams to plan, book and measure offsites and to enjoy a sustainable cycle of work, has gained Pending BCorp Status, helping customers to achieve high-performance culture and connection without negatively impacting the planet.

The company, which aims to add human connection to the digital plethora of solutions within the Future of Work space, identifies teams as the way to solve our most complex, interconnected challenges.

Whilst sustainable working design is at the heart of WorkTripp’s vision, this Pending B Corp Status further cements WorkTripp’s commitment to sustainable and regenerative business. (The WorkTripp Articles of Association legally commit the company to consider the interests of all stakeholders and not just shareholders when making important decisions.)

This Pending B Corp status builds on our WorkTripp Sustainability Charter to ensure that we build ‘right’ from the start. We prioritise funding, delivery partners, and customers that recognise these values too, so that we can build a future of work we all want to be a part of.
— Sally Page, Co-Founder, WorkTripp

WorkTripp’s customers are distributed teams within scaling companies, seeking experiences to supercharge culture, communication and creativity as they grow.

B Corps are strong performers also. Compared with traditional businesses, B Lab UK data shows that B Corps have a faster growth in turnover (27% vs 5%) and employee headcount (14% vs 1%), greater levels of employee retention, engagement and diversity, higher levels of innovation and are more successful in securing equity finance (70% vs 56%).

We aim to save our customers - including existing BCorps - hundreds of hours and to increase impact by using our vetted community and guidance. By starting our B Corp journey, we can now also help them feel confident that their investment is the best social and environmental choice.
— Sophie Bailey, Co-Founder, WorkTripp

How and where we work have interesting implications socially and environmentally.

A recent paper from the Proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences found that fully-remote can reduce 58% of employees carbon footprint vs. fully in office, when allowing for commuting, non-commuting travel (e.g. driving to buy lunch if you WFH), office energy, home energy and ICT energy.

WorkTripp is the leading platform for teams to plan, book and measure offsites as part of their cycle of work. We’re female-founded, based in the south-west of the UK, and curate the world’s best offsite designers set in nature.

Our mission is to right the balance from the pure hyper-efficiency and task-driven aspects of our new world of work towards sustainable working design, blending the best of offsites and online. We believe how you work is integral to achieving positive social and environmental change.
